I grew up with an incredibly intelligent Bullmastiff called Baxter, who inspired my fascination with dogs from a very young age.

 

When I was 10, I was unexpectedly attacked by a dog I knew well, which left me with a phobia for years, but also a lifelong question: why did it happen? Overcoming that fear sparked my passion for understanding canine behaviour and psychology.

 

Since then, I’ve spent years researching dog behaviour, navigating conflicting training advice, and deepening my understanding through both education and hands-on experience, including raising a particularly challenging Border Collie named Dexter.
